Combining sustainable material concepts with premium surfaces
Polypropylene (PP) is a versatile material for more sustainable plastic applications. It is widely available worldwide, cost-effective, has a low density, and is comparatively easy to recycle compared with other plastics. This makes PP a future-oriented basis for resource-efficient material concepts and supports the transition toward a more circular approach to plastics processing. This is becoming increasingly important in the automotive industry, as the new EU End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation promotes the use of recycled plastics and vehicle designs that facilitate recycling.
KURZ decoration and surface solutions enable PP-based material concepts to be implemented reliably. Our foil solutions provide premium decoration and dependable surface protection – including on substrates made from recycled polypropylene or in combination with other sustainable materials.
