Light that works. The use of individually programmable mini-LEDs enables compact and flexible light integration, sophisticated functionality and tailored effects. For this purpose, KURZ and ams OSRAM have pooled their expertise and developed a method that combines In-Mold Decoration (IMD) and Functional Foil Bonding (FFB) adhesive with ALIYOS™ technology. As a result, the mini-LEDs are applied directly to the component in an especially sensitive process – also suitable for 3D geometries. Freedom of design: IMD DECOPUR^® also enables a wide range of haptic and visual effects such as depth effects, prisms, structures, or color effects.

Innovation meets sustainability

ams OSRAM’s mini-LED technology enables especially compact light integration, which saves resources and energy. The entire structure enables C2X communication. Recyclable plastics and the CO₂ - reducing IMD manufacturing process are also used here. In addition, the component can be recycled – entirely in line with KURZ’s guiding principle ‘Designed for Recycling’.
