Material innovation: EcoLayer FX

Sustainable substrates take both into account: Freedom of design and high ecological standards. EcoLayer FX enables high-quality design effects on plastic materials such as polypropylene (PP) with cellulose content, limestone PP composite or talcum-reinforced PP compounds. The surface designs can be achieved without compromising on workability or appearance – for new demanding styles. The wafer-thin decorative layer is finer than a human hair. Green Design: Natural Fiber Decorations

Formerly a hidden champion, now a design hero: Natural fiber composites take center stage thanks to special decorations that also add new finishes to large NFPP components made of natural fibers and PP. The conversion takes place in a series-ready process: Under heat and pressure, a resilient matrix is formed in less than 65 seconds, in which natural fibers such as flax or kenaf are visibly integrated. This structure not only gives the surface stability, but also a warm, organic feel. For more aesthetics, sustainability, and efficiency.

Allrounder: Aesthetic, light, and stable

Whether seat shells, door panels or other interior parts: Natural fiber composites are extremely versatile and offer additional sound and heat insulation. Unicolored surfaces can be created as well as patterns, individual images, or multicolor gradients. The components are stable and yet up to 40% lighter than comparable full plastic solutions – meaning that the vehicles themselves are also lighter. The result: Less energy consumption and an improved environmental footprint. Especially since complete recycling is possible with the appropriate material selection.
