Fürth/Germany, March 5, 2024: The sustainable Wallbox concept from LEONHARD KURZ received an ‘Honorable Mention’ at the European Product Design Award (EPDA) 2023. The innovative e-dispenser, which celebrated its premiere at K 2022, impressed the expert jury of the renowned design award in the ‘Automotive & Transport/Cars: Electric’ category. The European Product Design Award recognizes holistically thought-out and attractive products from all over the world that improve our daily lives. “We are proud to be among the award winners with our Wallbox concept and to show that good design, smart functionality, and sustainability can come together in one product. Fürth/Germany, December 12, 2023: At the German Design Award 2024, the automotive front panel from LEONHARD KURZ was awarded a ‘Special Mention for Front Design.’ The innovative component successfully celebrated its premiere at the IAA Mobility event in Munich in September 2023 and later also impressed the trade audience at FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen. The foundation stone of the thin-film specialist's approximately 60,000-square-meter production facility was laid in 2022 near the major city of Quy Nhơn in the center of the country. In addition to representatives of the provincial government, the ceremony was attended by KURZ CEO Dr. Andreas Hirschfelder, the advisory board of LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co. KG – Mr. Walter Kurz, Mr. Peter Kurz and Mrs. Anja Kurz – as well as General Director Dr. Cosima Freiin von Salis-Soglio.
